Auld Lang Syne Video Submission
Use the link below to upload your video for the Auld Lang Syne Orchestra! If you want to record yourself playing different parts, you can. When you upload your video there will be an option to add additional files.
- Name your video with your name and the part you're playing (ex. LoraKilpatrickViolin1)
- You can use a webcam or your phone. If using a phone or tablet, record your video in landscape view.
- Include a 10 second lead time before you start playing.
- Play along with your metronome at 72 BPM or play with Soundslice (but mute my video).
- If you want to use the metronome option, either have the metronome clicking through your headphones or have the metronome audibly clicking while you record. Just make sure your metronome volume is not turned up too loud and make sure your metronome is not right next to your microphone.
- Make sure you hold that last note for 4 full beats and lift off on the "5th" beat.
- Smile!!

- How do I know you received my video? After you add your video and click upload, you will see a picture of a girl finishing a race (like the image on the right). That lets you know your video has been sent to me.
- When will the orchestra video be ready? We'll release it on the forum a few days before New Year's so you can share it with all of your friends!
